Yamsai'an Guard
The Yamsai'an Guard are a cadre of elite Hunters from the Great House of Yamsai. Hand picked, they maintain a status of combat excellence that is matched only by the nam-Chelnachon.
During the Yamsai'an excursion to the Beboverse Continuity, it was deemed necessary to create a land-based military force that could perform well in the exotic conditions of the BB-1 Continuum and its myriad fractal and subsidiary realities. The Yamsai'an Guard filed this niche, and performed at acceptable levels throughout their tenure in the BB reality. Ultimately, however, the Beboverse Continuum did succumb to the ever-encroaching Darkness, a threat that the Guard were neither equipped nor capable of thwarting. The reality was consumed, and with it, the need for the Guard. Unfazed by this setback, the Yamsai'an of the main FB-1 Continuity took it upon themselves to keep the Guard as an elite arm. Since this decision was made, they have continued to serve in Nalydya's military and have fought in the greater share of land confrontations the Pords have found themselves embroiled in in the subsequent eras.
When on the field, they are easily discerned by their cobalt-blue robes, black trim, silver belt (with matching silver hat), and white gloves. They do not carry any unique weapons or equipment, but do tend to favour the more traditional heavy kinetic rifles of the GAR line. They are an infantry-centric arm that places less emphasis on armour and heavy artillery; if an objective can be taken by swift infantry movement and direct fire light support pieces, they will see to it that it is taken in this manner. They are not without tanks or heavy artillery, however, but these types of formations are comparatively rare in contrast to the main bulk of the KZH.

Old Guard
During the era of Natynozh Supremacy, the Natynozh Hunters took it upon themselves to bring the Myzhkraf out of the developmental doldrums within which they'd wallowed for countless eons. Central to this reformation was the adoption of foreign naming and organizational conventions, as well the creation of new uniforms based on those from the prominent human world of Sol III. The result of these changes was the Nordwehr, the Great Northern Army of Imperial Nalydya. The Natynozh maintained the Nordwehr for 1400 years until the rise of the Yamsai'an Hunters - who sought to remove the foreign influence from the nation - brought about a dramatic shift to Pordic military policy; they created the Zhükozh Jloknamän-Rekazhnarän and oversaw the dismemberment of the Nordwehr. Feldmarschall Reid Hildenbrand, a prominent Nordwehr commander, was unwilling to fully part with the Nordwehr, however, and was able to secure the legacy and station of a number of Nordwehr formations. These surviving units became the Alte Garde - a small band of elite divisions steeped in the traditions and practices of the Nordwehr of old.
Sturmgrenadier
The primary assault infantry of the Old Guard are the Sturmgrenadiere. These infantry wear heavy power armour over a standard-issue barrier suit and wield an assortment of heavier infantry weapons.
Divisional Adgu
The Adgu originally began life as specialized light troops used for screening, flanking, and scouting before they adopted other roles and turned into an organization with objectives and mission-profiles beyond their initial purpose. The Adgu of the Old Guard maintain the original purpose of the Advanced Divisional Guard. These units go into battle with a standard-issue barrier suit over which their uniform is worn: a gray tunic with same colour trousers, black boots and a black belt, along with a spiked helmet. Sections of armour are worn over the uniform on the chest and forearms, and they also have dark red capes.
Sturmpioniere
The Sturmpioniere are the dedicated combat engineers of the Old Guard. beyond their initial purpose. These units go into battle with a standard-issue barrier suit over which their uniform is worn: a gray tunic with same colour trousers, black boots and a black belt, along with a spiked helmet. Sections of armour are worn over the uniform on the chest and forearms, and they also have dark red capes.
The Sturmpioniere carry an assortment of lighter infantry arms, and thus are more than capable of holding their own in a fight. They excel in erecting vast field defenses in little time, and are quite often found operating right up with the Sturmgrenadiere.

nam-Chelnachon: The Few
Guards of Jlokhemit and Rekazhnar - The Guards of Jlokhemit are the oldest branch among The Few. Older than the Nordwehr and persistent through the Yamsai'an Reformation, their service to Nalydya has been invaluable. The ranks of the organization are filled only with veteran soldiers who have fought in myriad other campaigns; they eschew standard garb in favour of heavy power armour that resembles melee infantry of old; their weapon choice is a particle beam trident with a Yamsai'an short sword as backup. Many also carry smaller handguns as well for areas in which they have difficulties maneuvering, but the Guards are specialized shock troops, not front line infantry intended for prolonged campaigning. Their accompanying organization, the Guards of Rekazhnar were formed to act as their complement and these infantry wield particle beam spears styled in the fashion of the Ocean-God himself.
Legions of Voznayte, Reknu, and Klovnar - The Legions Three are the mortal representatives of the great gods of war, hunting, and wolves. They are elite mechanized infantry that fight from infantry carriers and move as swiftly as Feldmarschall Reid Hildenbrand's concepty of hypermaneuverability will carry them. Clad in heavy power armour they have capes of shimmering turquoise and use drone swarms to force close quarters battle where they engage with sword and shields.
Orders Polynya and Amaruq - The Order Polynya and the Order Amaruq are the elite infantry of the Great House of Zhyso. Clad head to toe in robes accented with gold, their presence on a battlefield heavily implicates the importance of the theatre to the Zhyssian. Their primary weapons are not particle-based, like many of the other elite troops, but rather they favour standard kinetics. The most common weapon within their ranks is the light GAR-15, so favoured for its compact build and light nature.
